Jordon Marchesano

Jordon Marchesano was born and raised in the Los Angeles area and has been in recovery since 2014. Jordon spent the first two years of recovery working in residential treatment and partial hospitalization (PHP) programs, then most of the years since as a sober companion, working one-on-one with clients, many of whom lived in sober living homes.

That work meant years inside the homes families are trying to choose between, alongside the operators running them on spreadsheets, group texts, and payment apps never built for recovery. Jordon is also an AI engineer at GetCovered, building agentic systems that streamline internal processes.

Sober Friend is where those two halves meet. Jordon has always loved building technology and helping people, and started Sober Friend to put both to work for recovery: software that gives operators their time back, and a directory that helps families find a home that fits.
