What is the difference between the three subscriptions?
Basic ($99) is the full operating software for a single house — resident management, the complete compliance suite (UA, curfew, meetings, meds, milestones), staff, and rent collection. Progress ($129) scales you up with more beds and staff seats, plus metrics and analytics, AI competitor intelligence, custom SEO, and a premium badge. Structured ($149) adds phase-based program management, the highest capacity, and featured directory placement.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — your first home comes with a 30-day free trial on any subscription, with no credit card required to start. You get full access from day one, and you can cancel anytime during the trial at no cost. The trial is once per account, not once per home: any home you put on a paid plan after that starts billing right away. Adding a home as a free listing still costs nothing.
Can I change subscriptions later?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time from your business dashboard. Your residents, data, and settings are always preserved.
Do you charge platform fees on rent?
No. Sober Friend charges zero platform fees on rent collected through the software — the only fees are standard Stripe processing fees.
Do you offer discounts for multiple homes?
Yes. Discounts apply automatically by signup order: your 1st home pays full price, 2nd is 10% off, 3rd 20% off, 4th 30% off, and 5th+ 40% off.
