Directory Listing is a $49-per-month, per-home subscription that upgrades a program's free listing in the Sober Friend directory without adding any software. Your listing gets the same directory treatment as our Progress software plan: the Verified operator badge, placement above free listings, a premium badge, a 6-photo gallery and custom SEO titles and social previews. It also includes a monthly website SEO audit and a monthly AI competitor report for your area.
It is built for sober living homes, residential treatment centers, IOP and PHP programs and recovery consultants that already run their operations their own way and simply want families, case managers and referral partners to find them first. It is not software: there are no resident, rent, staff or compliance tools — those come with the software plans, which you can upgrade any house to whenever you're ready.

Is Directory Listing software?
No. Directory Listing is SEO and listing only. It does not include resident management, rent collection, staff tools, compliance tracking or the resident app. If you want those, choose a software plan instead — Progress and Structured include all of the Directory Listing perks (Basic ranks lower in search and doesn't include the premium badge, 6-photo gallery, custom SEO or competitor intel).

A basic listing is free. Directory Listing costs $49 per month per home, billed monthly with no setup fee, and you can cancel any time — your listing stays in the directory as a free listing. Software plans, which include the same kind of priority listing, start at $99/mo per home.
Is there a free trial on Directory Listing?
No. Directory Listing is a listing-only plan billed on your Sober Friend account — on the same monthly invoice as anything else you have with us — and paid up front. The 30-day free trial is for accounts whose first purchase is a software plan: once your account is billing for anything, including a Directory Listing, a software plan you add later bills from the start. If you think you'll want the software, start there — Progress and Structured include all of the Directory Listing perks.
Which kinds of programs can buy a Directory Listing?

What does the Verified operator badge mean?

Going the other way, to drop to listing-only you cancel the house's software plan and then buy Directory Listing.
How long until my listing is live?
Every listing — free or paid — goes live after our team reviews it. Complete the listing checklist in your dashboard and submit it for review; paying for Directory Listing does not skip that step.
