No. Sober Friend charges zero platform fees on rent collected through our software. The only fees are Stripe payment processing fees, deducted by Stripe per their published pricing — typically ~2.9% + $0.30 for cards and ~0.8% capped at $5 for ACH debits.
Residents can pay with credit or debit card, or US bank account (ACH). Everything is handled through Stripe Checkout, so residents never create an account and their payment info stays with Stripe — a PCI-DSS Level 1 processor.
Yes. You can create one-time payment links or schedule recurring monthly invoices per resident. Each resident gets a branded payment link you can send by text or email.
Payouts are issued by Stripe directly to your connected bank account. Standard Stripe payout schedules apply — typically 2 business days for US accounts after your first payout.
You can cancel, refund, or mark any invoice as paid/past-due from the dashboard. Past-due residents are flagged in the rent dashboard so you always know who still owes.
