Questions people ask
How much does Sobriety Hub cost?

Accounts with more than 15 staff are priced by sales.
Is Sober Friend cheaper than Sobriety Hub?
It depends on your team. Sober Friend charges $99, $129, or $149 per house per month with unlimited staff and no setup fee; Sobriety Hub charges per staff seat. Small teams across several houses usually pay less with Sobriety Hub; larger staffs and teams that are growing usually pay less with Sober Friend. Rent fees differ too: Sobriety Hub passes 3.9% card and 1.2% ACH fees to residents by default, while Sober Friend adds no platform fee.
Does Sober Friend have a resident app like Sobriety Hub?
Residents use Sober Friend in their phone’s browser: sobriety counter, check-ins, goals, and AI mentors. It is not in the App Store yet, and messaging isn’t available today. Sobriety Hub offers native iOS and Android apps with messaging.
Both have a directory. What is the difference?
Sobriety Hub Connect lists homes published by Sobriety Hub customers. The Sober Friend directory lists sober living homes and treatment programs from public sources, whether or not they use our software; any operator can claim their listing for free, and bed inquiries go to the claimed owner by email.
Can I switch from Sobriety Hub to Sober Friend?
Yes. Your first house starts with a 30-day free trial on any software plan — no credit card required. The free trial is once per account, not once per house, and it's for accounts whose first purchase is a software plan: any house you put on a paid plan after your account is already billing — a Directory Listing included — bills from the start, and we'll ask for a card if there isn't one on file. Adding a house as a free directory listing still costs nothing. Contact us and we’ll help you get your houses, residents, and forms set up.

How we made this comparison
Sober Friend wrote this page, so we are one of the two products being compared. Everything about Sobriety Hub comes from its own public website and app listings, linked below, as of October 28, 2026. Where its site doesn’t mention something, we say “not advertised”, which is not the same as “doesn’t have it”.
