Craig Ferrario 

My name is Craig Ferrario and I am a licensed recovery specialist working in this field since 2015. I am grateful to state that my sobriety date is November 28th, 2006, and from this date I have been on my own path of maturity, self-discovery, and continuous learning. It’s an honor to be in a role of service with each one of my clients and I find this work to be extremely enjoyable and rewarding. I make the effort to meet the individual I'm working with where they are: usually broken down from any combination of issues such as mental illness, alcoholism, and drug addiction. It's not only the substance that causes the brokenness, but also the pain of feeling despair and hopelessness. In my work with clients the goal is to make a human connection so they know they are not alone. In addition, I strive to gain their trust through being there to listen and provide support without pushing them away in the early stages of their recovery. It is important for me to connect with the individual by embracing and accepting their current condition with the understanding that this does not define who they are. I share my experience, strength, and hope when appropriate with my clients so they know that a gentler way of living is available for them as well. In addition to my work as a recovery specialist, I am also a long-time private health and fitness coach. As a part of my time with clients, if they are willing, we can take walks while enjoying nature, practice yoga and mobility work, and strength train. I like to incorporate both my recovery and fitness experience when working with clients to address the health of the whole person; physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. I am a firm believer in a sound mind and body when one embarks on the journey to redeem their freedom.
