Naia Schroder 

In the beginning of my sober journey in 2012, I never forgot when a stranger said to me, “You are not alone.” It was an act of grace that saved my life and allowed me to ask for and receive help. As a person in long-term recovery from alcohol, drug addiction, and trauma, I believe we are all in recovery from something at various times in our life, and we are not meant to “go it alone”. As an experienced Therapeutic Companion and former CNA working in aging care, I approach my work with empathy, patience, and a positive attitude. I am dedicated to promoting long-term recovery by challenging clients to work toward healing and self-sufficiency while emphasizing their personal strengths and milestones. I possess a comprehensive understanding of recovery modalities as well as other spiritual and harm reduction-based solutions to addiction. I have a professional background in theater and the performing arts, am an avid gardener, baker, and amateur florist. I love yoga and somatic experiencing, and escaping into the hills of LA for a hike or into a great book. I am currently based in Los Angeles and am pursuing a degree in nursing.
